Projects Using ProtecR
  • for torched applications of modified bitumen roofing systems (ProtecR) / for torched, cold applied or hot asphalt modified bitumen or built-up roofing membrane systems (ProtecRSS)
  • rigid mineral wool fibre board manufactured from basalt rock and steel slag with a melting point of 2180°F (1195°C)
  • top face saturated with bitumen
  • coated with a thermofusible plastic film cover (ProtecR) / coated with a sanded surface (ProtecRSS)
  • available in level or tapered panels, shiplap or butt edge construction
  • stable R-value of 4 per inch (RSI 0.70 per 25 mm)
  • CFC & HCFC free & does not contain or release ozone depleting chemicals
